Festive Fruit and Chocolate Bark for Gifting

Chocolate bark with nuts

This is the easiest homemade gift we know. One slab of chocolate, a handful of bright freeze-dried fruit, an hour in the fridge. Break it up, pack it in a box, and it looks like it came from a shop.

Ingredients (makes about 15 pieces)

Method

  1. Line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate gently, in short bursts or over hot water, stirring until smooth.
  3. Spread it about 4 mm thick on the paper.
  4. While it is still wet, scatter on the strawberry, mango, pistachios and a pinch of salt. Press lightly.
  5. Chill for an hour until firm, then break into pieces.

Tip: pack in a tin with baking paper between layers. Keep it cool and eat within a week. Short on time? Our gift boxes and combos arrive ready to give.
