About the AYC Festival Edition

Unlike our regular Mango Cubes, this AYC pack uses real mango slices, paired with juicy strawberry slices, both freeze-dried together so you get a true mix of both fruits in every handful. Each 15g pouch is freeze-dried from 150–200g of real mango and strawberry — light enough to carry around the festival grounds all day, with zero mess and no refrigeration needed.

How long does it last, and how should I store it?

Shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture (see the pack for the exact batch and use-by date). Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. The product is hygroscopic, so once opened, either finish the pack or reseal it in an airtight container — it'll soften if left exposed to air.

Is this the same as regular dried fruit?

No. Regular dried fruit is dehydrated using heat, which breaks down nutrients and often needs added sugar or oil to stay palatable. Freeze-drying removes the water at low temperature instead, so the fruit keeps its original nutrition, flavour, and colour — just without the water weight. That's also what gives Frudo its crunch instead of a chewy texture.

What's actually in the pack — any additives?

Just the fruit. No added sugar, no oil, no preservatives, no artificial flavours. Each pack is 100% real fruit, freeze-dried — see the Ingredients & Weight section under "More Details" for the exact fresh-fruit equivalent per pack.

Is it vegan and gluten-free?

Yes — every Frudo flavour is vegan, gluten-free, and non-fried, made from a single fruit ingredient with nothing else added.

How do I use it beyond snacking straight from the pack?

Frudo works well in smoothies, on top of yogurt or oats, blended into salads, as a cocktail or mocktail garnish, crushed over ice cream, or in baking. It rehydrates slightly when mixed into liquids, which brings back some of that fresh-fruit texture.
